Brief:

Having created a website for the accommodation Room for Two over 10 years ago, the owners made the decision to update the website to provide better security, features and a more modern layout.  The new website needed to include a booking system similar to what was in the old website.

Process:

The new website retained the design colours and features of the old website and so much of the content was copied across, and many of the same assets were used, including images.  However, the opportunity was taken to improve the template design, to rewrite content to work better for SEO and to make the website responsive.

New accommodation booking software was also added which not only allowed for online booking and payment, but contained many features for managing the booking process.  Also included was the ability to synchronise the website calendar with those of other booking websites such as booking.com.
